Dr. Balázs Tósoky

  • after graduating from the Piarist Grammar School in Budapest, studied law at the Faculty of Law, Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) between 1993–1998, obtaining a law degree ("cum laude") in 1998.
  • November 1998 – April 1999: trainee lawyer in Budapest (Tóth, Helli & Ruszthy Law Office).
  • May 1999 – June 2000: worked at the Dean's Secretariat of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Pázmány Péter Catholic University (PPKE), as secretary to Dean Dr. János Zlinszky.
  • November 1999 – June 2000: trainee lawyer (sole practitioner Dr. Jenő Bodonovich).
  • 1999–2003: taught fundamentals of law to final-year students at the Piarist Grammar School in Budapest as an external lecturer.
  • August 2000 – August 2005: staff member to President Ferenc Mádl, legal counsel of the Office of the President of the Republic, personal secretary to the Head of Office.
  • 2004: passed the Hungarian bar examination "cum laude".
  • practising attorney since 2005.

Speaks English, French and Italian.
